This is a silk
warp, 300 individual silk threads, each 19+ yards long. I
will be able to weave nine scarves using this warp. After
the warp is made, I wash it to remove any sizing or oils and
pre-treat it to accept the dyes.
Securing
the warp with very loose binding threads so it will
stay somewhat organized during manipulation and
washing
